Ir. Jesse Haaksman studied Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Twente, where he obtained his master’s degree at the end of 2023. His master’s thesis focused on the accurate measurement and modelling of material properties of wound composite structures. This project was carried out at Enrichment Technology Company (ETC) in Almelo, a subsidiary of URENCO.

Since early 2024, Haaksman has been working at the ThermoPlastic composite Application Center (TPAC), part of Saxion University of Applied Sciences. His main responsibilities as a researcher include product and process simulations, structural design, and thermoplastic filament winding.
