Edwin Wessels studied Process Engineering at the Dr. D.H. Groen College in Almelo. After completing his education, he began his career at X-Flow, where he progressed from production employee to R&D technician. During this period, he worked on membrane modules and alternative production techniques. He later held engineering roles at Pentair and Voortman Steel Machinery, focusing on process optimization, tooling development, and quality improvement.

From 2020 to 2024, he worked as an R&D engineer at NX Filtration, where he developed and implemented new products and manufacturing methods. His expertise lies in improving production processes, developing innovative manufacturing tools, and solving complex technical challenges.

Since 2024, Edwin has been part of the ThermoPlastic composite Application Center as a technical research engineer, providing technical support for testing activities and the development of production processes.
