Ir. Martijn Jannink started Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology in 1999, specializing in modelling of lightweight structures for his Master of Science. He continued with a career at big companies in the aerospace and wind power industry, even abroad, for modelling and certification of their new products. This was followed by short jobs at smaller companies in the region of Twente for improving their products.

After job hopping for several years, he settled at the ThermoPlastic composite Application Center within the Life Science, Engineering & Design (LED) academy of Saxion in March 2023, where he is working as mechanical test engineer.
