Lodyt

Summary

In the Lodyt project, the so-called V-Box, a new communication technology for road transport, is being developed. The V-Box is an intelligent control unit that not only facilitates communication between trucks and trailers but also enables vehicles to interact with other road users, infrastructure, and networks. This V2X communication stands for “Vehicle-to-Everything” communication. Trailers, which have traditionally been passive components of the vehicle, can now be equipped with intelligence. The project focuses not only on the technical implementation but also on ensuring effective information access for both drivers and fleet managers.

For the Lodyt project, TPAC is a key partner due to its expertise and experience in designing and constructing lightweight structures for the transport sector. This is particularly important for the development of the V-Box housing, given the specific loads and requirements for these components.
