SLIBBER

Summary

Every year million liters of water are treated in wastewater treatment plants to convert wastewater and return to the water cycle. Hence, as by-product tons of sludge are produced. Until now most sewage waste is incinerated. Besides organic contents, sewage waste also contains inorganic substances such as plastics. The aim of this project is to investigate new streams and strategies for reprocessing the inorganic compound of sludge.
